Who we are
This website is run by [legal company name – to add] (“Ribhu’S AI”, “we”, “us”), registered at [registered address – to add], India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here. That means we decide how it is used and we are responsible for it.
This policy covers the website and any emails that follow from it. It does not cover the RibhuSAI product or prototype. Design partners and early-access users get separate terms for that.
What we collect and why
We collect only what you choose to give us. When you use the contact form, we receive your name, work email, organisation (if you add it), the topic you pick and your message. We use these to reply to you and to follow up on early access, design-partner, investment or partnership conversations. If you sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address only to send it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. If you apply for a role, we use your CV and details only to consider you for that role. Whatever you write in an email to us, we use to reply.
Please don’t send us sensitive information, such as financial, health or government ID details, through the website. We don’t need it to reply to you.
When you visit the site, our servers also record basic technical data: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to keep the site running and secure. The site uses essential cookies that it needs to work. [To add: if you use analytics, add “With your permission, we also use [tool name] to see which pages people visit, so we can improve the site.” Otherwise delete this sentence.] You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but the site may not work properly without the essential ones.
We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or write to us, or where the law allows it, for example to keep the site secure or meet a legal duty. We don’t sell your personal data. We don’t use it for advertising, and we don’t use anything you send through this website to train AI models.
Sharing and storage
We share personal data only with the service providers who help us run this website and reply to you. These are our website host, email provider [to add: and newsletter and analytics providers, if any]. They may use the data only on our instructions. We may also share data when the law requires it, to protect the safety and security of RIBHUSAI or others, or with a successor company if RIBHUSAI is ever merged or acquired. If that happens, this policy continues to apply to your data.
[To add, choose one: “Personal data collected through this website is stored and processed in India.” OR “Some of our website providers store or process data outside India, in [countries]. When they do, we transfer data only as the DPDP Act allows.”]
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it. Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months, unless you ask us to keep yours for future roles. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. After that, we delete the data or make it permanently anonymous.
We protect your data with encrypted connections, limited access and up-to-date software. No system is completely secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to correct or update it, or to delete it when it is no longer needed. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it: unsubscribe from the newsletter, or just write to us. You can also name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
To make any request, email [privacy email – to add]. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within the time the law allows. If you visit from outside India, your local law may give you further rights, and we will honour them.
Other things to know
This website is not meant for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has sent us information, tell us and we will delete it. Our site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn, and their own privacy policies apply there. We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will point out any significant change on the site.
Questions and complaints
If you have a question or a concern about how we handle your data, contact our Grievance Officer, [name – to add], at [privacy email – to add] or [registered address – to add]. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
